What a successful event!
The kids all had a blast and there were some pretty awesome looking scary people walking around the neighbourhood. Treats quickly ran out with residents scurrying off to try and find some more – the Spar was apparently pretty much sold out early on in the evening.
Everyone really enjoyed the get together in the park – many thanks to all contributors! Free cup cakes galore, popcorn and a cold drink each – on top of the stashes of sweets collected in the neighbourhood, ensured that about 100 revved up and happy kids had a ball of a time and left them all looking forward to the same and better next year.
Awesome evening. Awesome photos. A big thank-you to all the organisers as well as those that donated all the goodies like cold drinks, sweeties, popcorn, cupcakes, etc.
Next year we hope to have loads more volunteers. Together we can make this a wonderful evening for our children.
