Load Shedding Notifications Suspended
Cape Town – The power system is currently stable, enabling Eskom to perform maintenance without load shedding, the electricity parastatal said.
“However, as a result of increased electricity demand in the evening and power stations’ units being on maintenance, the power system is expected to be constrained during the evening peak period (5pm to 9pm),” it said in a statement.
Eskom again urged electricity users to consider energy efficient ways of keeping warm.
